Meet the producers.
{prodN} Zürich neighbours cooking under their own name. No factory, no middleman.

The producers.
Behind each batch there is a person, not a brand and not a factory. Someone a few streets away who makes one thing properly.
Your recipe deserves more than your kitchen.
We bring the neighbours. You bring the recipe. Money lands before you cook, paperwork carried for you, your name on every batch. Cook on your hours, your kitchen, your pace.
Earn under your own name.
Every batch is paid up front by the neighbours who reserved it. You cook what was already paid for. If the batch does not fill, you owe nothing and we earn nothing.
- · No commute, no commercial kitchen, no boss.
- · Cook only after the batch fills. Never carry the risk of unsold food.
- · nDSG, LMG and LGV walked through with you before your first batch.
- · Theoni reads every application personally.

Reserve before Friday noon.
Neighbours pre-order what they want. If the cap fills, the batch is on. If not, every payment is auto-refunded inside 48 hours.
Cook the exact cap.
No surplus, no leftovers. The producer cooks the exact quantity that was reserved. Money already in the bank.
Meet at pickup.
Saturday. One door, one window, one hello. The neighbour collects in person. The maker has a name and a face.
Money lands the moment the batch fills.
Every payment returns automatically. No paperwork.
By design, not effort. The whole point of the flip.
Reserve a jar from your street.
Tell us your Kreis and how you eat. We only show you batches that fit.

Recipe, price, pickup window. Money lands before you cook. Paperwork is carried for you.
Sign up as a producer →It started with a jar of marmalade.
My grandmother never made more than the table needed. Every jar had a name on it.
From my kitchen.
Dear neighbour,
I live alone in Zürich. My friends have eaten everything I have ever made. Twice.
One evening I threw away a jar of Sicilian orange marmalade I had spent two hours making. It was not just wasteful. It felt wrong. I had made something with love and had nowhere to send it.
I learned to cook in my grandmother's kitchen in Greece. She never made more than the table needed. Every jar she sealed had a name on it. The food was a way of saying I remembered you.
I spent fifteen years across Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, inside companies that built what nobody asked for and threw away what didn't move. I was told to be a ship and follow orders. I refused, more than once, and lost jobs over it. I would lose them again.
So I started solo.quando. Only when. Nothing is made until someone asks. If enough neighbours say yes, it gets made. If not, nobody pays. Nothing is wasted. The producer keeps their name. You keep your trust.
I am a visionary, a dreamer, a romantic soul. I am also stubborn enough to build it.
Theoni
A city that cooks for itself.
No surplus. No factory. No food in the bin.
Most food is made first, then sold. Ours is sold first, then made.
A producer proposes a batch. Neighbours pre-order. If enough say yes, the producer cooks. If not, every payment is auto-refunded within 48 hours.
Pre-order is how crowdfunding works for products and how subscription works for media. We bring it to food, one street at a time.
The data behind the flip.
Switzerland alone. 330 kg per person.
Per person, per year. Food that someone bought, then threw away (FOEN).
Delivery apps deliver food. Not connection.
Three things we will not bend on.
Circular by default.
A jar is made only after a neighbour asks. Ingredients bought to the gram. Nothing left over.
A street with a face.
You meet the person who cooked. You learn their grandmother's name. Person by person.
Every kitchen welcome.
Retired hands. Stay-at-home parents. Disabled creators. Their name on the jar.
Zürich first. Then a neighbour at a time.
soloquando starts in twelve Zürich postcodes. The platform is built so it can run the same way in any city with a kitchen and a name on a jar. We will not chase scale. The next city joins when this one is steady.
What neighbours said.
Every word here comes from someone who collected. First name only. Theoni reads each one before it appears.

Twenty-seven reviews. Nothing edited.
After each pickup, every neighbour gets a private link. Only verified buyers can write a review. Theoni reads and approves each one. Only a first name and a rating are ever shown. Nothing is edited.

We don't
- Cook anything ourselves.
- Push notifications, gamify orders, or run flash sales.
- Charge producers per click, per impression, or per page view.
- Hide reviews, edit them, or pay for them.
- Sell, share, or rent neighbour or producer data.
- Force scale on a producer who wants to stay small.

Cookies.
What we store on your browser and why.
The short version. One first-party cookie for your sign-in session. One localStorage entry that remembers you accepted the cookie notice. Nothing else. No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers.
Sign-in session. When you log in with your email and password, we store a session token locally so the site knows you are signed in. This is in your browser's localStorage. Sign out clears it. It is never sent to a third party.
Language preference. If you switch between EN and DE, we remember the choice in localStorage so the site loads in your language next time.
Payment redirects. When you reserve a batch, you are redirected to Payrexx. Their cookies and privacy policy apply during checkout. We never see your card data.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, Mailchimp may set cookies on their confirmation page. Their privacy policy applies. We do not embed any Mailchimp tracking on solo.quando itself.
Hosting. Vercel and Cloudflare may keep short-lived edge logs for security and rate-limiting. No personally identifiable information is stored beyond what is needed to serve the page.
Your choice. You can clear cookies any time in your browser settings. Signing out removes the session token immediately. There is no advertising profile to delete because we do not build one.
Privacy.
Last updated 13 June 2026. What we collect, why, and how to delete it.
What we collect. Your name, email, Zürich Kreis (optional), reservation history, and any messages you exchange with a producer through the platform. We never collect more than that. We do not track you across the web.
Why. To match you with a batch, confirm your pickup, refund you if a batch doesn't fill, and let you log in next time. That is the entire list.
Payments. Cards and TWINT are handled by Payrexx. We never see or store your card number. Payrexx's privacy policy applies to that part.
Newsletter. Mailchimp delivers our list emails. We send one short note when a batch opens. You can unsubscribe in one click.
Sharing. We never sell, share, or pass your data to anyone outside the platform. The producer of a batch you reserve will see your first name and pickup choice. That is all.
Deleting. Write to hello@soloquando.ch. Everything is deleted within 48 hours and we send you a confirmation.
Cookies. One first-party cookie for your sign-in session. No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers.

Terms.
Plain rules for reserving, cooking, refunding, and pickup. Refund policy included.
1. The deal. By reserving a batch, you agree to pay the listed price only if the batch fills, and to collect your portion within the pickup window the producer set.
2. Refunds. If a batch does not reach its cap by Friday at noon, every payment is refunded in full, automatically, within 48 hours. No paperwork, no email needed.
3. Cancellations. You can cancel a reservation free of charge any time before the batch is confirmed. Once the batch is confirmed and the producer has bought ingredients, the reservation is final and cannot be refunded.
4. Pickup. You collect in person from the producer at the agreed window. If you miss the window, the food is yours. We will not redeliver and cannot refund.
5. Allergens and safety. All food is prepared in private kitchens by named producers. Each listing declares every ingredient and the major allergens. For severe allergies, read the listing carefully and contact the producer through the platform before reserving.
6. Producers. Producers receive payment for batches that fill, before they cook, minus payment processing and any platform fee disclosed at the time the batch was published. Producers may withdraw a batch before reservations open. After reservations open, only solo.quando can cancel a batch (e.g. for safety).
7. Content. You keep your reviews, your photos, and your messages. Producers keep their recipes.
8. Liability. solo.quando connects neighbours to producers. We are not the maker of the food. Producers are responsible for the food they cook. We are responsible for the platform and the refund.
9. Changes. We may update these terms. We will email you before any change that affects your existing reservations.
10. Law. Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction is Zürich.
