Pre-orders open on Sunday and close Friday at noon. If the cap fills, the batch is made. If not, every payment is auto-refunded within 48 hours.

Dear neighbour,
One Sunday I made twenty-four cookies. I ate two. The rest went to waste. That was the Sunday I understood the problem was not me. It is the way we make food.
I learned to cook in my grandmother's kitchen in Greece. She never made more than the table needed. Every jar she sealed had a name on it. The food was a way of saying I remembered you.
I spent fifteen years across Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, inside companies that built what nobody asked for and threw away what didn't move. I was told to be a ship and follow orders. I refused, more than once, and lost jobs over it. I would lose them again.
So I started solo.quando. Only when. Nothing is made until someone asks. If enough neighbours say yes by Friday, it gets made. If not, nobody pays. Nothing is wasted. The producer keeps their name. You keep your trust.
I am a visionary, a dreamer, a romantic soul. I am also stubborn enough to build it.

What sits between you and your neighbour.
Soloquando is not a delivery app. It is the quiet infrastructure that lets one person in Zürich cook for another without giving up their kitchen, their name, or their weekend.
What the platform does.
The pre-order engine
Each batch has a minimum, a maximum, and a Friday-noon deadline. The counter is live. The moment it hits the minimum, the batch is confirmed and the producer is notified. If it doesn't hit, every neighbour is refunded automatically inside 48 hours.
Payments & refunds
Payrexx handles cards and TWINT. Funds are held until the batch confirms, then released to the producer that week. Refunds run automatically if the batch fails the minimum or the producer pulls the batch.
The neighbour list
One newsletter. Personal email when your batch opens. Optional WhatsApp for the people who want it. Each neighbour has a profile with allergies, diet and pickup preferences so the producer knows who is in the room.
Verified reviews
The day after pickup, each buyer gets a private review link. Only verified buyers can write. Theoni moderates each review before it appears. Only a first name and the rating are ever published.
Producer studio
A four-step wizard that turns a recipe into a batch page. Pick a template, set price and minimum, drop a photo, hit submit. Theoni reviews each one before it goes live.
Vote to repeat
When a batch closes, neighbours can vote for it to come back. Past a threshold, the producer gets a nudge and the batch reopens. The platform decides nothing. The neighbours pull the lever.
Compliance, quietly
Swiss data protection law (nDSG) on every form. Food safety law (LMG, LGV) walked through with each producer before the first batch. Allergen declarations on every page. No PII shared with neighbours beyond first names.
The quiet AI
An assistant that helps neighbours discover batches that fit their diet and helps producers find their first ten neighbours. It never replaces the cook. It clears the table.

Submit a batch.
Open the dashboard. Pick a recipe, a price, a cap, a pickup window. Allergens and ingredients in plain language. Photos optional but help.
Money before you cook.
Once the cap fills, you receive the full listed price minus payment fees. We never take a cut. No subscription, no listing fee.
Cook only what's reserved.
You make the exact quantity. Neighbours collect from you in person within the pickup window. Nothing is wasted. Your name stays on every jar.
Paperwork, not your recipe.
Payments & refunds
Stripe handles cards. Auto-refund in 48h if a batch doesn't fill. You never touch a payment.

We share Zürich home-kitchen guidelines and check allergen declarations on every listing.
Pickup logistics
You set the windows. We share your address with reservers only. Neighbours pick up in person.

What we collect. Your name, email, Zürich Kreis (optional), reservation history, and any messages you exchange with a producer through the platform. We never collect more than that. We do not track you across the web.
Why. To match you with a batch, confirm your pickup, refund you if a batch doesn't fill, and let you log in next time. That is the entire list.
Payments. Cards are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to that part.
Newsletter. Mailchimp delivers our list emails. We send one short note when a batch opens. You can unsubscribe in one click.
Sharing. We never sell, share, or pass your data to anyone outside the platform. The producer of a batch you reserve will see your first name and pickup choice. That is all.
Deleting. Write to hello@soloquando.ch. Everything is deleted within 48 hours and we send you a confirmation.
Cookies. One first-party cookie for your sign-in session. No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers.
Your rights (GDPR / FADP). Access, rectify, export, or delete your data any time. Contact the address above.

Operator. solo.quando is a Zürich pilot operated by Theoni Paschou.

Terms.
Plain rules for reserving, cooking, refunding, and pickup. Refund policy included.
1. The deal. By reserving a batch, you agree to pay the listed price only if the batch fills, and to collect your portion within the pickup window the producer set.
2. Refunds. If a batch does not reach its cap by Friday at noon, every payment is refunded in full, automatically, within 48 hours. No paperwork, no email needed.
3. Cancellations. You can cancel a reservation free of charge any time before the batch is confirmed. Once the batch is confirmed and the producer has bought ingredients, the reservation is final and cannot be refunded.
4. Pickup. You collect in person from the producer at the agreed window. If you miss the window, the food is yours — we will not redeliver and cannot refund.
5. Allergens and safety. All food is prepared in private kitchens by named producers. Each listing declares every ingredient and the major allergens. For severe allergies, read the listing carefully and contact the producer through the platform before reserving.
6. Producers. Producers keep 100% of the listed price minus payment processing. We never take a percentage. Producers may withdraw a batch before reservations open. After reservations open, only solo.quando can cancel a batch (e.g. for safety).
7. Content. You keep your reviews, your photos, and your messages. Producers keep their recipes.
8. Liability. solo.quando connects neighbours to producers. We are not the maker of the food. Producers are responsible for the food they cook. We are responsible for the platform and the refund.
9. Changes. We may update these terms. We will email you before any change that affects your existing reservations.
10. Law. Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction is Zürich.
